You will teach up to and including GCSE with the potential for A level teaching. The successful candidate will be committed to passing on their expertise and promoting high standards of achievement among pupils.
Curriculum Focus
All students study Computer Science between Years 7-9, focusing on three key strands: Programming, Computer Theory, and Digital Literacy. Topics include Artificial Intelligence, Web Technologies, Animation, Python Programming, and Game Development.
Minimum Requirements
* Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
* Have successful teaching experience at secondary level (including teaching practice), ideally in multi-ethnic urban schools and 11-18 settings
* Understand effective teaching and learning strategies
* Value high expectations, equality of access, and the role of a tutor
* Possess knowledge of the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4, including lesson planning, resource development, and student assessment
