IVF Sister/Nurse Sonographer
Location: London: The Lister Hospital Fertility Clinic, Chelsea & Canary Wharf Satellite unit
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Monday – Friday with rotational Saturdays
Shifts: to cover opening hours of 8am-4pm
We’re looking for a IVF Sister/Nurse Sonographer to join our IVF at The Lister Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
Shifts for this role will be at the new Lister Fertility Satellite unit in Canary Wharf and at The Lister Hospital, Chelsea.
You will be responsible for supporting the Matron, Deputy Nurse Manager, and Senior Sisters in the smooth running of the clinics and supervising junior nursing staff. You will independently oversee scan lists, assist couples undergoing fertility treatments, and be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient treatment cycles. Maintaining effective communication channels between patients, staff, and other satellite services is essential, as is maintaining the highest standard of clinical practice and patient care.
The Lister Fertility Clinic, based at the main hospital site, is widely recognised as one of the leading fertility centres in the UK. Since opening in 1988, it has consistently maintained its reputation as one of the most successful IVF clinics in the country.
The Lister Fertility @ Canary Wharf is a new satellite site with clinics running on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You will be expected to work across sites.

What you’ll bring:
1. NMC Registered
2. Phlebotomy trained
3. Previous experience in IVF is essential, 4 years post-registration, and 3 years in an IVF setting
4. Ultrasound experience is essential
5. Prepared to work flexibly within working hours
6. Prepared to carry an emergency mobile phone out of hours
