About the role The post holder will perform a dual role within the Wansbeck Restoration for Climate Change and Revitalising our Estuaries Programme (RoE) Project team. The RoE project currently aims to protect and enhance six of the estuaries in the North East. We are looking for someone with an interest in the environment and project management, fieldwork and recording/surveying. Knowledge of the area, river estuaries or habitat creation is beneficial. The role will carry out field work using established procedures and protocols for monitoring the interventions installed at project sites, including recording, collation and evaluation of the data. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to establish the social impact of key projects. The role will include remote working, office based meetings and on site sessions working alongside the project team and other Groundwork staff.
