A busy and welcoming family near Henley, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced, proactive, and versatile part-time live-out housekeeper to help manage their beautiful home, alongside other members of staff.
The role is long-term and ideal for a candidate who is organised, dedicated, and passionate about maintaining high standards in a warm family environment. The family is looking for a personable housekeeper who will become a valued member of their home.
You will work Thursday, Friday, and Monday 08:30-16:30 (24 hours/week). There is the possibility of occasional additional hours, but these will be agreed in advance and paid as overtime.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Daily deep cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, with high attention to detail.
2. Laundry and ironing.
3. Cooking and serving light meals for the family.
4. Assisting with entertaining, including preparation and clean-up.
5. Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors.
6. Performing other ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the household.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous experience working in a high-end private household.
2. Fluency in English and full rights to work in the UK.
3. A hardworking, proactive, and highly organised approach.
4. A positive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Trustworthiness, reliability, and discretion.
7. Excellent, checkable references.
8. Their own fully insured car, with a clean licence (duty mileage to be paid).

Pay: £24,960 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross per hour.
