Location: Warrington / Cumbria, 2 / 3 days per week on site with travel to opposite site potentially once per month
Job Description
The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The PPP support to DAM is an integrated project team with members from PPP and Sellafield’s asset management capability.
The DAM programme is a site wide delivery improvement programme supporting Sellafield’s improvement requirements, the programme aims to address a number of issues with Sellafield’s asset management arrangements with a targeted outcome of: “An integrated information line of sight from the asset through to the enterprise that integrates activities across the asset lifecycle, removes the burden of paper-based work processes from our teams and engages everyone in the use of modern digital technologies to inform decision making.”
Role Responsibilities
The Task Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various tasks within the DAM project. Setting the task execution strategies, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and management to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks will be crucial to driving productivity and achieving delivery of goals and objectives within the agreed baseline.

Specific
1. Identifying, implementing, and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality, company procedures, policies, legislative, regulatory, requirements.
2. Developing, maintaining, reporting, and trending an accurate Task baseline.
3. Maximising within the Task the use of Learning from Experience & disseminating new LFE to the relevant functions.
4. Implementing and maintaining the Task and supporting functions interfaces and shared services.
5. Leading, coaching, and supporting the delivery team to ensure that the Task Delivery Fundamentals and required company practices are implemented and complied with.
6. Assigning and maintaining competent Task team members and acting promptly to industrial relations and HR issues.
7. Providing accurate and timely information and reports regarding the Task status, activities, and performance.
8. Identifying risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
9. Implementing and maintaining effective integrated Task execution strategies and plans.
10. Implementing and maintaining effective communication to the Task team and stakeholders.
11. Meeting the specified Task functional criteria.
12. Controlling scope and cost to the agreed Task baseline.
Accountabilities
1. Delivering the Task in a safe manner to the specified functional criteria, goals and objectives, compliant with appropriate legislation, Execution Procedures and within the approved Task baseline, scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements.
2. Applying an appropriate level of priority for safety and quality to ensure that Nuclear Safety is not compromised by delivery.
3. Implementing and maintaining a competent, effective and efficient Integrated Task Team.
4. Minimising the Task risks (threats) and maximising opportunities.
5. Maximising the Task efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Early identification of issues, concerns that either have the potential or will impact the Task baseline and sanction.
7. Proposing, agreeing, implementing, and reporting corrective actions to secure the Task baseline.
8. To the Head of Project with support from Management Functions as required, to ensure that the Task Delivery methodology is embedded and complied with.
9. To work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
