Job Description
We have partnered with a leading UK travel business in their search for a Head of Strategic Workforce Planning. This is a large, multi-site, complex organisation; this role is critical in supporting the organisational effectiveness of the business by influencing its size and shape, and aligning workforce capabilities with wider strategic goals. With a small team you will will lead the development and implementation of workforce planning strategies to ensure the business has the right talent to meet its current and future needs.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive workforce planning strategies that align with the organisation's long-term goals and objectives.
2. Shape and own the approach to Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and Org Effectiveness (OE), including the implementation and adoption of Organisational Design and SWP metrics/measures, tools, techniques and reporting.
3. Lead the business to enhance organisational effectiveness, including optimising the size and shape of the organisation to meet future demands, ensuring changes to structures are aligned to OE design principles.
4. Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to understand workforce requirements and develop solutions.
