Position Summary
My client is seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of six employees, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimising warehouse processes using our Navision warehouse management system. This role is ideal for a leader with a hands-on approach who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise a team of six warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and ensure proper documentation within the Navision system.
3. Process Optimisation: Analyse current warehouse processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards within the warehouse.
5. Order Fulfilment: Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with customer services, demand planning, and other departments to align warehouse operations with company objectives.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
* Proficiency in using Navision or similar warehouse management systems.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
* Experience implementing or optimising warehouse management software.
* Knowledge of modern warehouse operations and best practices.
