Responsibilities for the role of Contractor Quantity Surveyor
1. Precontract
1. Estimation and cost planning.
2. Tender work packages.
3. Tender appraisal and recommendation.
4. Sub-contract award.
5. Main contract award.
2. Post contract
1. Monthly valuations and cashflow forecast.
2. Monthly CVR's.
3. Cost and valuation management.
4. Sub-contract valuation and final account agreements.
5. Overall final account agreement.
Requirements:
* Ideally 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
* Contractor QS experience.
* A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience essential in NEC and JCT forms of contract.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* Full driving licence.
