Job summary
We are looking for a fixed term salaried GP for 9-12 months to cover maternity leave between 4-5 sessions per week.
We operate from two sites: our main surgery is located in the heart of the ancient city centre of Cambridge adjacent to Corpus Christi College, and our purpose built branch healthcare centre in the nearby picturesque village of Trumpington.
Parking is available at both sites.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be expected to provide medical care and services to the practice population, managing a clinical caseload and dealing with a diverse range of health needs.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Managing patient caseloads and dealing with a wide range of health needs including surgery consultations (we offer both face to face and telephone consultations) and home visits as required.
Triage responsibilities, including prioritising patient care based on urgency, and acting as the duty doctor to manage acute medical cases and provide clinical guidance.
Dealing with pathology results, tasks, referrals and correspondence in a timely manner.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting other team members by sharing clinical knowledge.
