Ongoing Locums Available in South East Somerset with Great Hourly Rates
Dream Medical is seeking a Locum GP to cover ongoing rotas for a client of ours in South East Somerset, near Frome. The centre is located within purposely built modern premises and located within easy access of public transport links and also offers free onsite parking. The centre is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year where you will join a fantastic and friendly team who take pride in being able to cater for their local and surrounding community.
Responsibilities:
1. Make professional, autonomous decisions
2. Provide counselling and health education
3. Support other members of the practice clinical team by providing clinical supervision as required
Requirements:
1. Full and current unrestricted GMC (UK) registration on the GP Register
2. MRCGP (or working towards it)
3. Excellent command of the English Language – both verbal and written

Dream Medical is seeking a Locum GP to join a traditional surgery in Somerset who has a passion for working within a team and who will share their patient centred ethos. The surgery in question caters to the local and surrounding community; providing their patients with the highest quality of medical care. Located close to fantastic commuter routes, the surgery also offers onsite parking and based within close proximity of local transport hubs.
You will be joining a fantastic clinical team, made up of other General Practitioners and boasts a full quota of Nursing and Practice Staff. The Surgery uses EMIS and is accredited paper light bringing it up to date with all computer systems to aid your work on a day to day basis.
Requirements for the role:
1. Hold a full, clean GMC
2. MRCGP (or working towards it)
3. Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
4. Be on a Performers List
5. Have an excellent command of the English language
6. Have a full and competent understanding of the NHS
Along with all other aspects of primary care services, you will be expected to:
1. Make professional, autonomous decisions
2. Provide medical advice for minor injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening
3. Support other members of the clinical team
4. Complete a variety of duties including completing any relevant paperwork
5. Provide counselling and health education if required
6. Conduct home visits if required
