We are seeking a creative and dynamic Art teacher to join our secondary school team in Horsham. This full-time role is set to begin at the end of April and will run until the end of the school year.
Position: Art Specialist (Full-time) Location: Secondary School, Horsham Start Date: End of April 2025 End Date: End of the school year (July 2025)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Art lessons to students across various year groups.
- Plan, prepare, and assess creative and engaging Art curriculums.
- Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment.
- Support students in developing their artistic skills and creativity.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff to enhance the students' educational experience.
Requirements:
- Recent experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Art techniques, principles, and the secondary school curriculum.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- GCSE's or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working with children
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
