Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a Bristol-based organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices, prompt payments, and efficient follow-up and issue resolution.
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk will include, but are not limited to:
1. Processing invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
2. Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
3. Reviewing and correcting payment proposals.
4. Generating self-billing reports.
5. Monitoring credit notes and updating logs.
6. Assisting with month-end closing processes.
7. Resolving internal/external claims and handling 2nd level AP queries.
8. Maintaining supplier relationships and contributing to process improvements.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will require the following skills and experience:
1. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficient in SAP-S/4 Financial Applications and computer tools.
5. Ability to support process improvement.
