The Trust is an acute andcommunity provider. Our Care Group brings together nursing, therapy, medicalimaging, medical and support staff to deliver integrated, holistic care workingacross the Rotherham community. The Care Group delivers the majority of patientcare in community settings, either in citizens own homes, care homes orcommunity hubs.The Care Group is a cohesive place to work andemploys over 1000 medical, nursing, allied health professional and supportstaff across 21 different community sites. It covers diverse community adultnursing services including Planned and Unplanned District Nursing, IntegratedRapid Response, Medical Imaging, Specialist nursing teams such as Respiratory,Diabetes, Continence, TB, Cardiac, and Primary ear care and audiology.As a Care Group, we work closely with our PCNsand within Place to develop and enhance services for the population ofRotherham. In order to do so we maintain close working relationships betweenprimary, secondary care, mental health providers, social care providers,hospice and voluntary care providers. The Care Group strives to ensure the bestpossible outcomes for our patients by addressing acute deterioration, treatingacute and ongoing illness and facilitating recovery outside of the hospitalsetting.
Main duties of the job
This role will provideoperational management, advice and support to the division to enable thedelivery of performance and business objectives. The role will work alongsideService Manager Lead(s) in ensuring, safe, effective and efficient overall managementand implementation of service delivery; delegated responsibility for monitoring andensuring that agreed service level agreement activity and access targets areunderstood, met, and, where necessary adjust delivery plans to reflect theachievement of national targets; key business, quality, financial, serviceeffectiveness and performance targets are maintained; contribution to the development of businesscases, bids, project and quality documentation overview documents, to supportservice development and business planning; day to day operational managements of the caresupport unit providing direct supervision to the administrative staff in theservice; leading of the scheduling of outpatient clinicsand domiciliary visits.
