Job ref: S/18/25 Job type: Permanent Location: Riada House Salary: SO1 (SCP 25-27) £35,235 - £37,035 per annum Quantity of Posts Available: One Closing date: Tuesday 18 Mar 2025 16:00 Job summary To assist the Building Control team to fulfil the Council's statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of the Building Regulations and Allied Legislation in relation to Building Notices, Regularisations and Full Plan domestic works. To assist in the fulfilment of the Council's statutory duties including Street Naming and Postal Numbering, Energy Performance of Buildings legislation, Dangerous Structures and Dilapidations legislation and Property Certificates. Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements of the department and works in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
