An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiorespiratory Team/Chest Pain Unit to work 37.5 hours per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication & problem solving skills.
You will require high levels of tact and diplomacy with the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively to enable day to day management.
You will be working alongside a number of consultants and various other clinical staff.
Daily tasks include: keeping on top of the catheter lab procedure bookings and pre-assessments, receiving and completing Inter Provider Transfer forms for referrals to and from Derby hospital. Clinic room scheduling, opening diagnostic test schedules on Meditech and adjusting to the departments needs, including altering letters and patient instructions via superuser access, sharing reports and clinic letters in accordance to the data protection act and trust policies. Front of house reception for both departments, manning the department phone line to support with patient and ward enquiries. Liaising with wards to arrange inpatient diagnostics & maintaining the departments general email.
Support the Team Leader in making sure that all work stations are covered to ensure a smooth running department & monthly staff rotas/annual leave requests, as and when required.
