Job Summary:
Care To You Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor to support our carers in delivering high-quality care services to our clients in their own homes, ensuring our clients receive the compassionate, personalised care they deserve. This role requires flexibility, as you will need to balance office-based responsibilities with a willingness to undertake care calls, when necessary, particularly as we continue to grow our workforce.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Supervise carers in clients' homes to ensure compliance with care plans and company policies and maintain high standards of service quality and client satisfaction.
2. Ensure carer spot checks and assessments are completed, and evidenced to ensure care staff are following best practices.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to care staff, offering support, training, and mentorship as needed.
4. Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and management to provide updates on service delivery and address any issues promptly.
5. Complete new client assessments and manage reviews and risk assessments as part of the senior team.
6. Work with clients, in cooperation with other staff and agencies, on the development and implementation of individual client-centered care plans.
7. Complete client care plans to ensure that the needs of the clients are met.
8. Assist with client bookings to support the Care Coordinator to ensure safe cover.
9. Take part in the senior on-call rota to support service safety and coordination.
10. Assist the Registered Manager with the induction of new staff.
11. Carry out care calls to clients as necessary to support the safe service delivery providing cover for clients’ calls as required.
12. Work in conjunction with the management of Care to You Healthcare.
13. Assist clients, advocate on their behalf, and maintain their rights and responsibilities in receiving services that will support them in achieving their desired outcomes as detailed in their care plans.
14. Report any significant changes in the health, well-being, or circumstances of a service user.
15. Help in the promotion of mental, physical, and emotional well-being of service users.
16. Attend meetings with other staff, management, and other relevant agencies.
17. Read and write reports as directed.
18. Complete training as directed within agreed time frames.
19. Comply with the Care To You’s policies, protocols and guidelines at all times.
20. Perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
21. Be available to work alternate weekends.
22. Driving: Hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel to clients' homes in the West Sussex area.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience of working in a similar role.
2. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience or willingness to complete training.
3. Able to understand and be sensitive and sympathetic to needs of our client groups.
4. Positive attitude, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
5. Able to demonstrate a commitment to continual personal & professional development and show willingness to undergo training as may be required.
6. Able to work flexibility Monday to Sunday.
7. Enhanced DBS disclosure.
8. Full Driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
9. Proven experience in supervising colleagues, preferably in a senior care or related setting.
10. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team of domiciliary carers.
11. Familiarity with care plans and protocols within the healthcare industry.
12. Proficiency in using IT systems for reporting and tracking purposes.
13. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, clients, and management.
14. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
