We're seeking an exceptional Chef de Partie to join the performance kitchen that fuels our elite Men's First Team squad, including some of football's brightest stars competing at the highest level of European football.
Working at the heart of our state-of-the-art Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, you'll be integral to our "fresh food first" philosophy, creating innovative dishes that power Champions League performances and Premier League excellence. This isn't just any culinary role - it's an opportunity to impact elite athletic performance through world-class nutrition.
Duties
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef, focusing on nutrition and taste.
* Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
* Assist in the creation and execution of diverse, balanced menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of athletes.
* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
* Work closely with other kitchen staff, contributing to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
More About You
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
* Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
* Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques and styles.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Passion for cooking and a commitment to high culinary standards.
* Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable
* Professional cookery L2 and L3 or equivalent.
