Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical biassed) required for a facilities management company.
Your new company
Your new role is for one of the largest family-owned construction, infrastructure, and support services businesses in the UK who provide hard and soft FM services, grounds maintenance and energy services for single and multi-site locations throughout the UK.
Your new role
• To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to a high level.
• To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work on equipment.
• Update the help desk on progress of reactive works and completion of reactive / planned tasks.
• Provide written technical reports, including routine maintenance and reactive reports.
• Diagnosing faults on all M&E systems and rectifying as within levels of competence.
• To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
• Facilitate site attendance by specialist sub-contractors.
• Complete all relevant documents such as Permit to Work Systems which is required.
• Undertake job specific risk assessments.
• To always operate with safe working practices.
• Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
• To take part in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities
• To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate
• To provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
What you'll need to succeed
• Recognised trade apprenticeship• Experience in electrical power distribution systems/ lighting systems/ 18th Edition• City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning• Experience in HVAC control systems• Preferably come from a facilities background (not essential)
• Experience with BMS Control Systems• Health & Safety Certificate• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel• Enhanced DBS (this is available through Hays)
• Able to respond efficiently to and prioritise all duties accordingly.• Customer service skillsWhat you'll get in return
