The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting an experienced Controls, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join a global energy and service provider. Ideally, you will be based in Stockport; however, Windsor is also available.
Job Overview:
This role is responsible for CE&I reliability engineering. The reliability engineering function provides asset/product reliability engineering support for the existing fleet of assets under operations and maintenance and provides front engineering diligence to assess proposed suppliers and products prior to being incorporated into proposals.
Some of your duties will include:
* Assessing asset performance through telematics data, working with the Customer Operations Centre team.
* Providing root cause analysis (RCA) support to disseminate engineering outcomes required to improve asset performance.
* Assess proposed products, considering their compliance, performance, and integration in consideration for them to be incorporated into new schemes.
* Responsible for ensuring that all stages of the product and integration assessment process are completed.
What do you need to succeed?
* Strong understanding of the design requirements and related challenges in a manufacturing setting associated with mechanical, electrical, and software challenges. An understanding of the requirements of the prime mover and its relationship to the rest of the design and service.
* Ability to lead a team to produce detailed, practical, and effective designs for our customers.
* Be able to appreciate how your element of the design interacts internally with the product but also externally with our clients. Put systems in place to formalize communication lines.
