An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, highly skilled, and innovative individual to join the Finance Directorate.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be integral in making a meaningful difference for our local population, supporting the Health Board. The role will require the translation and triangulation of operational strategies into financial costs and benefits, with an overall aim of ensuring service resilience, sustainability, and value for money.
The post will be supporting Ceredigion Health System comprising of Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion County and the Medicine Management Directorates.
The Finance Business Partner will form part of a team led by a Senior Finance Business Partner and is supported by a Finance Business Partners.
Main duties of the job
This unique role covers Acute and Community sectors which offers an opportunity to work across directorates encouraging integration and transformation of services throughout the Health Board.
* Provide strong financial leadership to the Directorates you support ensuring their performance delivery, providing appropriate governance and sound professional advice and support.
* The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that a robust financial management and planning process is in place including supporting the Directorates Senior Finance Business Partner in providing sustainable financial planning including:
o Modelling and tracking spend plans against Welsh Government funding allocations.
o Provide support in annual programmes of work targeted to deliver savings.
o Develop and support on creation of business cases to deliver change in the Health Board.
o Capacity demand modelling.
o Activity performance analysis.
o System wide analysis.
o Providing financial updates at various forums on spend and projected costs to assist with decision making.

* CCAB Qualified Accountant - professional accountancy qualification plus further specialist knowledge training and experience.
