As an Area Sales Manager, your specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Generating new sales leads whilst managing existing accounts
* Increasing brand awareness
* Liaising with merchants, installers, architects, consultants, specifiers, and end users
* Being aware of market trends and competitors’ products
* Working closely with dispatch and accounts teams
* Producing innovative sales promotions and methods
* Contributing positively in sales and commercial meetings
* Prompt and accurate reporting to the sales director
* Promoting and ensuring compliance with the company’s Equal Opportunities policy, Quality Policy, and Health and Safety policy
* Carrying out any other duties necessary for the smooth running of the function
* Preparing to travel, spending approximately 1-2 nights per month away from home
It is essential that the successful candidate has:
* Experience in a high-pressure sales environment
* A sound knowledge of the heating/boiler sector
* A proven track record in the industry
* A full driving license
