The Role:
Are you looking to kickstart you career in audit and compliance through doing a business admin apprenticeship?
As a national training provider experiencing a period of growth, we are seeking an Audit and Compliance Apprentice to join our
Audit and Compliance Team.
The position will involve carrying out internal audit checks on documentation and reporting any non-compliant actions to the Audit
and Compliance Manager. The apprentice will also process accurate and timely data daily for all learners, in time for monthly
submissions to the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn about the training sector and the importance of adhering to funding
rules.
The apprentice will be enrolled onto the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship programme. Over 18 months, they will study
topics such as understanding an organisation, regulations, policies & processes/procedures, aspects of project management, how to
manage performance, planning, organisation & decision making skills, quality and process improvement, business fundamentals and IT
& external environmental factors (these subjects may differ).
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audit and compliance checks for all onboarded learners to ensure ESFA compliancy
- For post-onboarding processes, completing compliance checks for change of learner requests, additional learning support,
achievers, withdrawals and other areas of post on-boarding
- Carrying out compliance checks for quality of delivery, progress reviews, off-the-job training and other aspects of quality
- Ensuring all change of learner requests are audited and processed accurately and timely
- Being responsible for reporting non-compliance to the Audit and Compliance Manager
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure learners’ compliance is maintained
- Carrying out monthly Additional Learning Support audits in line with audit schedule
- Keeping up to date with ESFA funding rules for all funding streams of Apprenticeships, Bootcamps and Advanced Learner Loans.
