The role of HR Manager:
* Develop and implement core HR programmes, including performance management, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, and job descriptions.
* Drive people initiatives by providing thought leadership and guidance on organizational and people-related strategy.
* Ensure an exceptional employee experience that aligns with the company's culture and values.
* Provide generalist support on administrative paperwork, disciplinary actions, employee relations, counseling, and third-party management.
* Make recommendations on compensation, organisational structure, attrition, promotions, and other HR activities.
* Proactively identify learning and development needs, retention strategies, succession planning, and career development opportunities.
* Partner with Finance to develop and manage the HR budget.
* Maintain compliance with local labour regulations and data privacy laws.
* Ensure the compensation and benefits structure is competitive and in line with industry standards.
* Source and recruit candidates from various online channels.
* Collaborate with senior management to review potential candidates and filter resumes.
* Undertake any other duties as assigned by the organisation.
The ideal HR Manager:
* Proven background as an HR Manager or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of HR programmes and best practices, including performance management and talent development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to influence and coach others.
* Sound understanding of labour laws and privacy regulations.
* Demonstrated experience in budget planning and management.
* High level of discretion and confidentiality.
* Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
