The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting a range of machined and fabricated components. Quality Inspector Permanent Competitive Salary Late Shift: Mon 15:00pm – 01:00am, Tues-Thurs 15:00pm – 00:30am Derby Quality Inspector Job Description To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations. Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making quality decisions. To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured. To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products – New Product Introduction (NPI). Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans.
