About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Water Treatment Chemical Salesperson to join Humberstone Chemicals Ltd. This role is particularly well-suited to a graduate or someone starting their career in sales who is eager to develop their skills and achieve significant earnings. With a focus on cold calling and establishing strong client relationships, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our water treatment chemical sales.
This position offers a basic salary with the potential for high commission, giving you the opportunity for uncapped earnings based on your success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cold Calling: Actively engage in cold calling potential clients to introduce and promote our water treatment chemicals, generating new leads and sales opportunities.
2. Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and fostering loyalty.
3. Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base for our water treatment products.
4. Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our water treatment chemical products and services to effectively communicate their benefits and value to clients.
5. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
6. Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with our products.
7. Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets, providing regular reports to management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
1. A strong interest in sales and a drive to succeed in a competitive market.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
3. Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to engage in cold calling and tackle challenges head-on.
4. A basic understanding of water treatment, or a strong willingness to learn about the industry.
Desirable:
1. A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Business) is an advantage but not essential.
2. Prior experience in a sales role, particularly in a B2B setting, is beneficial but not required.
