Job Description
Join Securitas as an Asset Protection Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' properties and premises. This dynamic position involves traveling by air to various locations, providing top-tier asset protection services, and adhering to site-specific Assignment Instructions. You'll be responsible for preventing unauthorized access and monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems to ensure a secure environment.
* 42 Hours per week
* £16.07 ph
* Days, nights and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
* Protect Client Assets: Ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties and premises.
* Travel for Protection: Fly to different locations to deliver exceptional asset protection services.
* Follow Protocols: Adhere to site Assignment Instructions and comply with security protocols.
* Monitor Security Systems: Keep an eye on fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
* Equipment Management: Conduct routine checks and maintain issued equipment from both the client and Securitas.
* Stakeholder Support: Provide guidance and information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their safety and security.
* Health and Safety: Follow health and safety procedures meticulously at all times.
* Emergency Response: Notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) during emergencies and follow their instructions.
* Incident Reporting: Report any instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged, or vandalized.
* Security Checks: Implement the client's 'stop and search' policy when required.
* Investigations: Conduct initial investigations and report incidents, suspicious activities, objects, and vehicles both verbally and in writing.
* Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service and support to all stakeholders.
* Professional Presentation: Maintain the highest standard of personal presentation and uniform smartness to uphold the image of Securitas and the client.
Qualifications
* Current SIA licence: Door Supervisor and CCTV
* Have a full 5 year checkable work history
* Ability to obtain National Security Clearance (SC) and BS7858 screening
* Competent in MS Word, Excel and E-Mail (Outlook)
* Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion
* Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedule
