We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join Headroom, the early intervention in psychosis service for Cardiff and Vale UHB, as a trainee advanced nurse practitioner.
Headroom is a service for young people aged 14 to 25 who are presenting with their first episode of psychosis. The job will require you to act as a key member of the Headroom team whilst being enrolled on the advanced practice development programme. The programme will provide the training, supervision, and clinical opportunities for the candidate to develop across the four pillars of advanced practice: education, clinical practice, leadership, and research. Upon successful attainment of the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and a yearlong consolidation period, the candidate will have the opportunity for advancement to Band 8a subject to funding.

Your responsibilities will include assessing, managing, and delivering treatment and interventions for the total episode of care. In addition, you will provide supervision and teaching, lead on relevant audit and service improvement initiatives, and collaborate on ongoing research projects.
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all ethnicities, races, genders, religions, and ages, as well as individuals with disabilities.
