Teaching Assistant / HLTA with Midday Assistant duties
Hours for Posts:
TA: 22 hours per week
HLTA: 5.5 hours per week
MDA: 5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
Salary Grade for Posts:
TA: Scale 3, point 6 - £25,183 FTE
HLTA: Scale 5, points 12 to 17 - £27,711 to £30,060 FTE
MDA: Scale 1, point 3 - £24,027 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to the part time, term time hours)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and self-motivated Teaching Assistant with HLTA and Midday Assistant duties to join our supportive and hardworking staff team.
The role will form an important part in the achievement of the pupils within our school and will be primarily to cover PPA sessions from EYFS to Year 6.
The successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for the planning and delivery of learning activities during the school day for individuals, groups and whole classes.

You will:
Have a passion for supporting children and families
Be qualified to NNEB/BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Be reflective, caring and emotionally resilient
Be confident to cover whole classes when required
Have the ability to motivate children through good practice
Have effective, clear communication and interpersonal skills
Have at least a grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Have a good record of punctuality and attendance
Skills required:
