You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of business development in the healthcare staffing sector. Responsibilities: Market Research & Strategic Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the healthcare sector. Analy s e the competitive landscape and identify unique selling points to position the company's services effectively. Develop insights that support the creation of new strategies for business development and service offerings. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Lead Generation: Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities through a variety of channels such as networking, cold outreach, and referrals. Client Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at healthcare facilities, understanding their staffing challenges and offering customized recruitment solutions. Client Presentations: Schedule and lead meetings with prospective clients to pitch the company ’ s services, discuss their staffing needs, and present tailored solutions. Sales Planning & Deal Negotiation: Sales Proposals: Prepare and present comprehensive sales proposals, pricing quotes, and contracts to potential clients. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable, long-term contracts. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to meet business development targets and expand the company ’ s client base. Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales goals, consistently driving revenue growth and client acquisition. Reporting & Data-Driven Strategy Adjustments: Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in the company ’ s CRM system, including client interactions, proposals, and contract details. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to inform decision-making and refine business development strategies. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies for more effective client acquisition and retention. Collaboration & Team Leadership: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client staffing needs are met with high-quality candidates and that services are aligned with client expectations. Share market insights and client feedback with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and business operations. Provide guidance and leadership to junior business development staff, supporting their professional growth and contributing to the overall team performance. Contract Management & Compliance: Oversee the drafting and execution of contracts, ensuring that all agreements comply with company policies and industry standards. Manage client relationships post-contract, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and looking for opportunities to expand existing relationships. Requirements: 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the healthcare staffing or recruitment industry. Experience within the Care Homes/Supported Living/Independent Living/Private Mental Health sector Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth in a competitive market. Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, particularly related to nursing staffing and temporary contracts. Familiarity with the challenges and regulatory requirements of healthcare staffing. Sales & Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to lead successful negotiations and close deals that meet both client needs and company objectives. Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients and decision-makers. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies based on market insights and business goals. Leadership: Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment. Analytical Skills: Capability to analy s e sales data, market trends, and client feedback to make data-driven decisions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools for tracking activities and generating reports. Results-oriented and highly motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
