Salary: £26,547 Per Annum + Additional Enhancements for Weekend / Night Shifts (£25,547 base salary + £1000 Market Rate Allowance)
The Role
The appointed Senior Support Worker will:
1. Have experience in supporting adults with multiple and complex support needs.
2. Possess excellent communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written.
3. Have experience in shift leading within a Health and Social Care setting.
4. Have some knowledge of CQC requirements, Safeguarding, best practice around person-centred planning, and the ability to work to and monitor quality standards.
5. Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we work with, which could include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
You will be responsible for working alongside the manager to ensure that all support and record-keeping meets the required standards for Care Quality Commission and Hampshire County Council.
The role will also involve overseeing and supervising staff, liaising with external agencies, and covering management tasks when the team manager is on leave. The role will be a combination of off rota and providing hands-on support.
