We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Southern Lakes team based in Wanaka.
You will be a strong leader for the Cook Brothers Construction team and trade partners, whilst working alongside the Quantity Surveyor & Site Manager on Commercial build projects. You will be driven to succeed personally and drive the success of those around you.
Duties:
1. Strategically planning and effectively managing all aspects of the construction project
2. Liaising with clients and stakeholders while maintaining a high service quality
3. Development of construction programme
4. Driving Health & Safety in all aspects of the project
5. Leading cost control and budget reporting
6. Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the project
7. Focus on quality and sustainability
8. Construction methodology and adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes and acts for self and the team
9. Leadership of Site Manager and build team. Ability to work effectively alongside QS
Skills and Experience:
1. Must have at least 5 years NZ/AUS project management experience
2. At least 7+ years construction experience
3. Commercial build experience
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate tough conversations
5. Leadership of Health and Safety
6. Finance and budgeting skills
7. Familiarity with using project management software
