Your Mission We are seeking a Business Process Expert in Service Planning to join our team. In this role, you will own and continuously improve the planning of service work and the creation of work orders across our Semiconductor Service (VSS) operations. You will build a strong roadmap towards AI-assisted service execution, working closely with VSS Service central and ops teams, customer centers, and all involved stakeholders. The first 18 months will focus on a new field service app for onsite and field service planning and work order creation. Key Responsibilities Field Service Planning: Lead the planning and scheduling of field service activities to optimize resource utilization. Design and develop scheduling tools to allocate resources effectively and meet service level agreements. Process Optimization Continuously assess existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Implement improvements to streamline workflows. Workflow Owner For Service Order Creation Act as an application owner for the VSS solution for field service order creation. Develop and streamline processes for efficient and accurate guided service order creation. Training And Development Provide training and guidance to the VSS field service operations community on service order creation and field service planning. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development. Quality Assurance Ensure the accuracy and completeness of service orders to meet customer and company expectations. Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and rework. Experience Requirements Operational experience in a customer center service organization or similar environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Technical expertise in software development, database management, and scripting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in continuous improvement and change management programs. Certification in Project Management or Process Improvement methodologies is desirable. Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) is beneficial. Desired Attributes Detail-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving. Customer-focused mindset. Work Environment The first 18 months of the role will require the chosen candidate to be located at our Burgess Hill Office for project launch and collaboration. After this period, a global position is possible. Occasional travel to meet with software suppliers, operational teams, or attend training sessions will be required.
