I have a FANTASTIC opportunity for a Children's Home Registered Manager to join one of the UK's most established Children's Residential Service providers to manage a 4-bed Children's Residential home in Acocks Green, Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of a busy residential service, for children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. The home is well situated in Birmingham with access to lots of amenities and activities for the young people.
Salary: up to £45,000 Basic
Achievable annual bonus: £5k
Location: Acocks Green, Birmingham
Hours: Full time

The role of Children's Home Registered Manager offers the opportunity for a candidate already in a registered manager position, or a deputy manager looking to step up, looking for a new opportunity in an ambitious organisation, with the children and quality at the heart of their values and a dedicated leadership team with the vision to inspire and support young people to lead happy and successful lives.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with EBD.

Responsibilities of the Children's Home Registered Manager:
* Manage staff team within service
* Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
* Ensure the service offers therapeutic care and support
* Ensure the service is safe and efficient
* Manage staffing and recruitment
* Ensure the service meets Ofsted regulations
Requirements:
* NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services) DESIRABLE
* NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services ESSENTIAL
* Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position ESSENTIAL
* Experience in a residential children's home environment ESSENTIAL
