Job summary We are looking an enthusiastic healthcare assistant to work in our very busy Leicester Glenfield Outpatients Department and Loughborough NCSEM. This position is band 2 or 3 dependent on experience. You will enjoy a challenging varied pace and an exciting working environment caring for a complex range of patients. Glenfield Outpatients Department cover various clinics and specialties such as Cardiology, Respiratory, Vascular, Breast Care, Orthopaedics, Palliative Care and Rheumatology to name a few. You will be working closely with a large team of nursing and medical staff, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, to provide high quality care to patients and their carer's.You will need to have healthcare experience, excellent communication skills, positive personality and a mature and professional approach to their work. Computer skills are desirable. You must be able to deal with the public in a sensitive and polite manner, and be flexible in their approach to duties of work. You may be required to work in other designated locations of the Trust as well as your primary base.
