You will work on automated assembly, functional testing, and production monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project, manufacturing, and test equipment teams to capture requirements Develop software and hardware specifications Design, implement, and maintain robust control system solutions Develop and program PLCs and HMIs for industrial automation Troubleshoot technical issues related to control systems Manage production test solutions throughout their lifecycle Provide training and guidance to apprentices and operators Support company-wide software and hardware initiatives Occasionally travel off-site for equipment inspections, training, and remote support Skills & Experience: Essential: Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Physics (or equivalent experience) Experience in designing and implementing control systems (PLC & HMI programming) Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron) Familiarity with industrial automation systems and protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management abilities Desirable: Project management experience Experience as a Technical Lead Exposure to Lean Manufacturing techniques Familiarity with LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA Experience with robotics, motion control systems, and pneumatic integration Knowledge of SQL databases and additional programming languages Why Should You Apply?
