We are seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Waste Water Project Manager for an outstanding company that works across the Midlands region and associated Water companies like STW.

Waste Water Project Manager – Candidate Requirements
1. At least 5 years Waste Water industry experience which must include management of field teams and project rollout.
2. Experience of waste water network surveys and an ability to build new business.
3. A proven history of stakeholder, personnel and financial management.
4. Experience of applying risk management principles particularly in relation to the client, workload, scheduling and reporting.
5. Ideally a Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
6. Full UK driving licence.
7. You should be willing to travel regularly, spending on average 2 nights a week away from home.
Waste Water Project Manager – Company Overview
The company has an increasing number of long-term contracts with all UK utility companies. The contracts rely on accurate and efficient installation and maintenance of a variety of instrumentation from our Field Engineers. As a total data solution provider, installation and maintenance of this equipment is fundamental to the business.
Waste Water Project Manager – The Role & Main Responsibilities
General
1. Managing project resources and implementing agreed strategic approaches and plans for clients across the Midlands region.
2. Monitoring and reporting the progress of projects.
3. Working closely with clients in the creation and implementation of instrumentation maintenance strategies.
4. Communicating with both the company and client management, ensuring performance, budgets and KPIs are visible. This can then be reviewed or revised where required.
5. Ensuring all budgets are tracked and monitored at a regional level and ensuring this is fully communicated with the clients.
6. Following up on any business development opportunities whilst also ensuring appropriate ownership of customer assets.
7. Conducting site visits to review options/viability.
8. Ensuring contract governance and adherence to contract specifications.
9. Quality control and verification of data submitted by Analysts and Senior Project Engineers.
10. Ordering additional manufacturer parts and spares as required for distribution to regional teams.
11. Identification of potential works and preparation of field packs.
Staffing
1. Selection and allocation of staff across the framework to ensure regional targets are met and that each region has an adequate level of staff experience.
2. Performance management of individuals and teams.
3. Responsible for all Midlands based project team members - ongoing training and mentoring.
4. Day to day liaison with staff - ongoing training, mentoring and auditing.
Health & Safety
1. Promotion of Health and Safety to ensure safe working practices to protect not only direct reporting staff but also external sub-contractors and the general public.
2. Identification and management of risk across all activities.
3. Communication of any Health and Safety issues in a timely manner with all clients.
4. Responsible for all traffic management safety procedures.
Waste Water Project Manager – Benefits Package
1. A starting salary of between £55,000 and £60,000pa.
