Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is required (or degree equivalent)
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an SEN support assistant to work in a large school from April 2023. The role will be paid at L2 Teaching Assistant and start on the 17th April 2023 until at least Summer, potentially into the new academic year. The school is one of the top performing in the local area and does have a number of children with special educational needs and additional learning needs.
If you were to be successful and undertake the role you would be expected to work half of the day with a Year 4 child with Global Learning Difficulties and the other half with a child in Year 5 with ADHD. This role is extremely varied and the SENCO in school has asked that the candidates applying will need to be flexible and multi skilled.
You must have experience working with general Special Needs as well as Behavioural Needs. The role will be to work 08:45 until 15:15pm per day, 5 days a week. It is important that you are able to commit to the entirety of the role which is until at least Summer.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
