Job purpose/summary: 1. Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and use clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis. 2. Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients. 3. Ensure all treatment provided are based on evidence and best practice. 4. Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards. 5. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate clinical software.
