Warehouse Administrator salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending upon experience and if FLT accreditations are held. If you thrive in dynamic environments where each day presents fresh challenges, we want to hear from you Job Summary: As a Warehouse Administrator, you'll hold a pivotal role where 80% of your time is dedicated to administrative tasks, including creating sales orders on sage, order processing, customer communication, coordinating transport and meticulous record-keeping. The remaining 20% for this Warehouse Administrator role involves general warehouse duties such as unloading containers, order picking items using manual pick sheets, making boxes ready for freight to be dispatched, labelling boxes, conducting stock takes and aiding in goods-in processes. The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Administrative role would ideally have an externally accredited FLT Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence however this is not essential to be considered for this role. Key Duties Validate dispatch orders for accuracy Liaise with customers to schedule suitable delivery timings. Manage transport bookings and ensure comprehensive documentation. Uphold precise inventory records and conduct quarterly stock takes. Cultivate robust customer relationships through effective communication. Collaborate closely with sales and warehouse teams for streamlined operations. Offer assistance with warehouse tasks as required, including heavy lifting up to 25kg. Requirements: Prior experience as a Warehouse Administrator is essential. Excellent telephone etiquette and adept communication skills. Strong organisational prowess and meticulous planning abilities. Proactive problem-solving aptitude, with a keen focus on root cause analysis. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate effectively. Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.
