In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of communication and event-related activities, ensuring the successful delivery of commercial, community, and BDA-produced events and venue support. You will play a crucial role in promoting BDA venues and supporting initiatives that align with our strategic priorities. As an Events and Engagement Advisor, you will contribute to the development of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies, deliver high-quality communications, and participate in visitor experience activities. You will also manage event resources, review event-related submissions, and provide operational support of events. Manage the booking and operations of a range of events concurrently, ensuring timely delivery despite varying timelines and limited resources. Establish and maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships to facilitate optimal involvement in events. Support the Manager in delivering tasks on time, within budget, and to a high standard, while operating within legislative and regulatory provisions. Provide high-level communications advice across the project lifecycle, including risk mitigation and the design and delivery of external communications. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate services functions, to ensure seamless event delivery. Participate in initiatives to enhance team operational efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the overall success of the BDA.
