What we are looking for We are currently seeking a Social Media Manager - QIPCO British Champions Day, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. What you’ll be doing We are seeking a highly motivated Social Media Manager to lead and execute the delivery of all social media assets for QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot and its supporting activities around Club 26 and the Hall of Fame. This prestigious event, marking the end of the flat racing season, requires an individual with an in-depth knowledge of all platforms and keen interest in trends. As Social Media Manager, you will plan and oversee the social media content strategy across BCS channels on a daily basis, ensuring all content is accurate, engaging and adheres to the BCS tone of voice. Working alongside the Senior Project Manager, the Social Media Manager is responsible for developing a roadmap of assets to grow the BCS social audiences through compelling stories and content. Key Responsibilities: Plan the content strategy across BCS social media channels on a daily basis, with a focus on driving ticket sales for BCD and the promotion of Hall of Fame and Club 26. Oversee content production from concept and storyboarding through to managing the content producers through shooting and editing. Be the first point of contact and manage the day-to-day relationship with any digital content and social media agencies to ensure high-quality output and overall delivery against key performance indicators. Oversee the community management strategy for BCS social platforms, ensuring regular healthy proactive and reactive interaction with our followers. Build relationships and engage with relevant stakeholders to bring BCS many racing and lifestyle stories to life. This will require national travel. Monitor and track the growth of BCS social media audiences. Budget management. Key Skills: Previous proven experience working in a similar social media role. Highly proficient managing all social platforms, specifically TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
