Job Title: Supply Chain Development Engineer
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Location: Bristol
In this role, you will be a key player in developing the supply chain required to support our products for the next 50 years. The role will involve establishing what the major requirements are for supply chain, executing a programme of work that delivers against the objectives of Defence. You will foster strong relationships both internally and externally to Rolls-Royce, working alongside the Buyers, Delivery Leads, and Mechanical Engineers in establishing the desired supply chain. Your creative approach will create sustainable, long-term supply chains, providing a competitive edge for Rolls-Royce, our customers, and suppliers. This position is crucial for driving competitive advantage for the future of Rolls-Royce Defence.

What You Will Be Doing:
* Work with suppliers to support their accreditation to Rolls-Royce quality standards and implement APQP practices.
* Identify challenges within the Rolls-Royce supply chain and provide solutions to strengthen these areas.
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure product design is aligned to the capabilities of the supply chain.
* Jointly work with the wider procurement team to ensure the category strategies are making the best use of the broad capability the market has to offer.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Demonstrate experience of working with supply chains and engineers in a complex industry.
* Possess strong quality and mechanical engineering skills demonstrated through a proven track record of successful supplier engagement activities.
* Show an understanding of aerospace certifications and accreditations as used by Rolls-Royce.
* Have a real passion to drive change and make a difference, combined with the ability to solve complex problems.
