We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Treasury Accounting Assistant on our Chippenham site on a 14 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Working in a busy Treasury department within a centralised finance function, producing bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
This is a chance for a trainee accountant seeking a role offering variety and challenge.
Hours:37.5 hours per week hybrid working attending our office on Tuesday and Wednesday's.
Salary: £28,090 pa
How will you contribute?
1. Reporting to the Treasury Accounting Manager.
2. Account reconciliation and reporting of Receivables Purchase Facility.
3. Account reconciliation and reporting of Supplier Finance.
4. Account Reconciliation PL Bank Account and advise.
5. Responsible for bank administration tasks.
6. Preparation of documentation for internal Audit (EFTs and Treasury Policy).
7. Provide cover for Cashiers including manual payments and cashflow.
8. Upload payroll Chaps files.
9. Ad hoc project work and development opportunities as directed by Treasury Accounting Manager.
10. Reconciliation suspense accounts.
11. ICO.
12. DD Forecasting.
What will you bring?
13. Trainee accountant.
14. Working towards or achieved an AAT qualifcation
15. A team player with good communication and people skills.
16. An analytical mindset.
17. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
18. Focused on process development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
19. Basic Excel skills, working use of formulas.
20. Transactional Accounting Experience desirable.
21. Purchase Ledger experience advantageous.
22. Knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given.
