We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of our customers’ vehicles.
About the Job:
As a Driver with Steer, you will collect customer vehicles for repair and return them afterwards, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Main responsibilities:
13. Collecting vehicles from customers and transporting them to our site for repair work.
14. Delivering repaired vehicles back to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
15. Providing a high level of customer service throughout the collection and delivery process.
16. Following legal requirements as set out in the Road Traffic Act.
17. Supporting other sites to cover absence when needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
18. Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a commercial driving role, ideally as a vehicle recovery driver.
You will:

20. Work skilfully and safely under pressure.
21. Possess good customer service skills.
22. Have strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
23. Flexibility in your approach to work.
24. A commitment to continually working to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
25. Hold a valid driving licence (ideally clean) and be over the age of 21 due to insurance reasons.
