Description
Looking for a top-tier talent to cover maternity leave. Responsible for Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensuring all sales are correctly accounted for in accordance with Group finance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Overall:
1. Upload all Sales Ledger invoices.
2. Maintain AR.
3. Liaise with the Credit Controller.
4. Responsible for XAL invoicing within ledgers.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
1. Upload of all sales ledger invoices from various Practice Management systems (e.g. CCH and IRIS) for all Regional Offices in your assigned region.
2. Ensure all coding and VAT allocation is correct.
3. Set up XAL invoices within both RO and XAL ledgers ensuring correct coding.
4. Prepare intercompany XAL reconciliation report at month end to ensure all coding has been correctly applied in each entity.
5. Send out statements to all ROs to confirm XAL balances.
6. Inform ROs of XAL payments when notified by XAL Management Accountant.
7. Liaise with Credit controller and enter credit notes when required.
8. Ensure Contact data for all clients is kept up to date including maintenance of accounts and reference numbers, bank details – in line with blue Xero.
9. Contact groups are maintained, and the quarterly contact group report is run for all ROs.
10. Support the set-up of Contact Groups for Acquisitions, liaising with new Acquisition to put this in place.
11. Support the credit controller as and when required with reporting and chasing debtors.
12. Provide monthly sales ledger reconciliation data as required by management accountant team.
13. Any other duties as required to support the Finance Team.
Key Requirements
1. Sales Ledger experience.
2. Experienced in Accounts Receivable.
Additional Requirements
1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
2. Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem solving and ability to identify and communicate possible improvements to all areas of the process.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills with both clients and other team members.
4. Strong Microsoft skills including Excel and Outlook.
5. Knowledge of Xero (ideal not essential).
