Job Title: Client Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £24,985 per annum

An exciting opportunity has opened at Blythwood Vets for an experienced and enthusiastic Client Care Assistant to join our fantastic front-of-house team!
The role involves direct interaction with clients at our reception desk and encompasses all aspects of client care support.
Your role and responsibilities
* Welcoming and registering new customers.
* Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care.
* Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries.
* Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
* Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
* Taking payments.
* Promoting offers and services.
* Remaining calm, courteous, and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour.
Required Skills and Experience
* Must have experience working within the Veterinary industry.
* Experience working with the public in person and by telephone.
* A passion for working with the public.
* Good telephone manner.
* The ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues, face to face, telephone, and email.
* PC literate with Excel and Word.
* Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
* Able to adapt and quickly use in-house computer applications and software (training will be provided).
