We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our eHealth IM&T Team.
We provide support for a variety of clinical and administrative systems serving all areas of NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
As the eHealth Cyber Security Manager, you will lead a small team, working closely with eHealth Management and Technical Staff, Information Governance and Stakeholders throughout NHS Dumfries and Galloway.
This extends to Health and Social Care Partners as well as third party vendors and suppliers. You will be expected to ensure the required Cyber Security policies and standards are met and implemented and continually monitored for effectiveness.
You will provide expert advice to all stakeholders including third parties, ensuring that the information gathered, processed and retained by NHS Dumfries and Galloway meets all relevant standards and legislative requirements.
Ensuring the integrity of NHS Dumfries and Galloway networks, systems and information it is essential that risks are assessed and suitable measures are implemented to reduce the cyber threat landscape.
You will have:
• Client facing experience working in a large organisation, and ideally within a public sector environment
• Demonstrable experience relating to the role, with focus on industry specific best practice, threats and regulations
• Demonstrable understanding of security industry frameworks (such as ISO27001) and their application within the public sector
• Negotiating skills to best address requirements of NHS Dumfries and Galloway, strategic partners and suppliers
• Working knowledge of the operation and configuration of all common security devices / systems (Firewalls, Filters, SIEM, etc)
Candidates should be qualified to degree level or have equivalent experience, specific Cyber Security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent would be an advantage.
