We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated HR Officer to join our Schools & Business Team, who will have lead responsibility for Job Evaluation – could this be you?
You will co-ordinate, organise and undertake Job Evaluation across the Council – so a keen eye for detail and fantastic organisation skills will be key for this role. You’ll also be supported by the HR Advisor within the team, who will be on hand to offer guidance with all things Job Evaluation!
We’d really like to hear from you if you have previous experience of Job Evaluation schemes, or have previously worked in Human Resources and have an understanding of the importance of equal pay within the workplace.
As part of this role, you will also be working with HR colleagues, Trade Unions and senior officers by sharing your knowledge of Job Evaluation, so effective communication skills and an approachable manner will be key for this role.
Finally, you will also support colleagues within the Schools & Business Team in the delivery of our HR Service Level Agreements to schools, and our agency contract to services within the Council - however, we’ll get you up to speed on these aspects when you are in post!
