Assistant HR Business Partner
Start Date: February 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term to 30th September 2025
Salary: Grade 4 Points 18 to 22
£31,283 to £34,201 per annum
(Salary subject to pending job evaluation)
West Lothian College is looking to appoint an Assistant HR Business Partner.
This new role will ideally suit a highly organised and proactive individual with at least 2 years’ prior experience at HR assistant level. You will operate working across the college supporting managers and HR business partners delivering a highly effective HR service at all key points of the employee lifecycle.
You will provide professional support and guidance for routine HR related activities ensuring the effective delivery of core HR processes. These will include recruitment, onboarding, absence management, employee relations casework, payroll and other HR processes. You will have the opportunity to contribute to HR and People Development projects and initiatives across areas such as health and wellbeing, reward and recognition and equality and diversity.
