Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams.
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
* Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their academic performance.
* Collaborate with other educators and professionals to create personalised learning plans for students.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any additional support provided.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
* Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in using technology to enhance learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field.
* Experience using alternative teaching methods, such as multisensory approaches.
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
* Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
